Our Porterhouse steak gives you that signature T-shaped bone, with one side of the bone being a nice sirloin strip steak, and the other side of the bone has a delicious tenderloin steak. What makes this cut different from the T-Bone steak is that the tenderloin on a porterhouse is larger that what you would find on the T-Bone, making it more valuable for that delicious tender cut. The best steak for a weekend grilling, add your favorite seasoning blend and enjoy the best of both cuts.
Our favorite way to cook Porterhouse steaks is on the grill, but you can enjoy it seared and finished in the oven as well to get the best texture outside while still keeping the steak tender. A dollop of fresh herb butter completes this steak for the perfect special occasion!
Our pasture raised Porterhouse Steak averages around 1.75 pounds of premium beef that are cut about 1 inch thick and are vacuum sealed for freshness. Due to the different growing rates of our cows, the size of the Porterhouse steaks may vary. These cows have the best life possible when on our farm. From the moment they are born or brought to our farm, our animals are treated with the utmost respect. Rotational grazing when the weather permits allows them to have the best health for the animals while also allowing proper stewardship of the pastures. Our animals are never fed animal by products and are never given growth hormones or steroids.
