What to Expect at The Backyard
Our "Backyard" is where we have our play areas and additional animals such as donkeys, kune kune pigs, emus, ducks, peacocks, and more!

Please note The Backyard is CLOSED at this time with a scheduled opening date of Friday, May 8th.
We are upgrading some areas of the property for the future enjoyment of our guests. At this time, only the main lawn is open for exploring. For safety and security, all areas past that are closed until further notice.
The camel field and cow field, which homes our yaks, are open for viewing at this time.
The Jump Pad & Bounce Houses
This area will open for the season at noon on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
$5.00 per jumper aged 2+
ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CHILDREN ENJOYING THE JUMP PAD AND BOUNCE HOUSES.

Why is there a fee to access The Backyard?
The Backyard is where we have some or more exotic and unique animals. They are not production animals and are a large expense to our business to keep them housed, fed, and cared for. The fee to access The Backyard helps us keep these animals and maintain their health and happiness. We understand part of the fun of coming to the farm is seeing animals. To accommodate that we allow free entrance to The Backyard all day on Wednesday and Thursday as well as Friday until 3pm. Additionally, we have animals you can visit during any regular open times without a fee, including our camel, goats, sheep, and cows.
Can my dog come with me into The Backyard?
For the safety of our animals and proximity to our pens, no dogs may enter The Backyard at any time. This includes the area where our inflatables are due to high traffic areas. Well-behaved pups are welcome on leash with their responsible owners in many areas of the farm, but The Backyard and Farm Stand are off-limits for health and safety reasons.
Why can't my 12-year-old go in without an adult?
We require adult supervision of all minors under 16. Although we'd love to allow young teens to enter without supervision, some poor behavior has been observed, including injury to our animals, damage to our property, and picking on younger children. All children must be with an adult to ensure everyone is properly supervised and safe.
When is the Jump Pad open?
We endeavor for them to be available during Friday evenings 5-7, Saturdays 12-7, and Sundays 12-5. That said, each day depends on weather, private rentals, and staffing availability. Please check out social media pages for real-time updates.
