Cranberry Orange Relish
Made with just four simple ingredients, this easy cranberry orange relish delivers a bright, tangy alternative to traditional cooked sauce. It can be prepared up to three days before Thanksgiving and kept in the fridge—and it’s the only cranberry relish my family will eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium navel orange
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Grate 2 teaspoons zest from orange; set aside. Peel orange and divide into segments.
  2. Place segments, zest, cranberries, sugar, and cinnamon in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped.
  3. Transfer to a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until flavors have blended, at least 2 hours and up to 3 days.

Note

• If you prefer a sweeter relish, you can increase the sugar to 3/4 cup.

• You can add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch, if you like.
