With an update to our previous pulled pork recipe, we're thrilled to offer this again. The spice rub that goes on the pork has remained the same, but it’s now made with our kitchen’s own house made barbecue sauce. A tasty balance of smoky goodness with a touch of sweet from Hollis Hills maple syrup, this new recipe is sure to be a family favorite.
If you prefer a saucier pulled pork, we get it! Don't hesitate to pick up a bottle of locally sourced barbeque sauce by Appalachian Naturals, available in our "pantry" section. Or, If you like more sweetness, feel free to add more maple syrup or a touch of brown sugar at home.
Our pasture-raised pork is slow-cooked with the perfect smoky and tangy seasonings blend. Just reheat and enjoy on a freshly baked roll, over macaroni and cheese, or as-is with fresh grilled vegetables.
Fully cooked, reheat to enjoy. We recommend thawing in the refrigerator overnight, then transferring to an appropriate container on the stove or in the microwave to 165 degrees.
