Our marrow bones are from the lower leg bones of the cows, making them large and filled with delicious marrow! Many people use marrow bones to make stocks and broths because of the delicious marrow inside. The bones are high in omega-3s and collagen, giving your stock or broth a hearty and nutritious element and making it taste amazing. For even deeper flavors, we recommend roasting the bones before making your stock for a more flavorful stock. These are long marrow bones and are not split in half down the center. Because all our meats are hand-cut, we can not have our bones sliced the long way; it is too dangerous for the packing staff.
Our marrow bones come in between around 2.5 lb. packages of premium beef bone vacuum-sealed for freshness. These cows have the best life possible when on our farm. From the moment they are born or brought to our farm, our animals are treated with the utmost respect. When the weather permits, rotational grazing allows for the best health of the animals while also enabling proper stewardship of the pastures. Our animals are never fed animal by-products and are never given growth hormones or steroids.
