This loin roast from the area between the shoulder and the leg on the pig, and could be used to cut your own pork chops. This makes it a lean and tender roast that is perfect for roasting in the oven. And because our loin roast is boneless, you can easily slice and serve in whatever thickness of a slice you’d like! The one thing that this roast might not be good for is braising or stewing, as the meat may get too tough and doesn't hold up well when cooked in these methods.
To cook your loin roast, just cover the outside in your favorite spice rub and roast in the oven with the fat side facing up at a lower heat for a tender and juicy roast. We recommend tenting the roast in foil if you want to ensure it stays juicy, but for a nice crispy roast, it is best to finish cooking it uncovered. It is sure to be a fan favorite at your next family dinner.
