Tallow is the result of rendering down beef suet. This animal fat is solid at room temperature and has a high smoking point, making it great for frying and cooking. Tallow is also great for making soaps and other balms with vitamins A,D,E and omega-3’s. Many soap makers will use beef tallow in their soaps and lotions as it gives the skin a moisturized glow for this reason! The other great thing about tallow is that it is shelf stable, meaning you can store it on your counter and not worry about it spoiling.
We keep our tallow frozen before it is delivered to your door or pickup location, but you can refrigerate it or keep it close to your stove for easy access.

Our premium beef tallow comes in half pint packages. These cows have the best life possible when on our farm. From the moment they are born or brought to our farm, our animals are treated with the utmost respect. When the weather permits, rotational grazing allows for the best health of the animals while also enabling proper stewardship of the pastures. Our animals are never fed animal by-products and are never given growth hormones or steroids.
