Snap Payment Details with Lilac Hedge Farm
We now accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments in all places that we sell our products:
- At our Rutland Farm Stand
- At our Farmer's Markets
- Online for Home Delivery & Pickup Orders
If you would like to pre-order for a Farmer's Market or through our online system, please add the items you would like to your online order and email us (info@lilachedgefarm.com) so we can enable an option to pay with your SNAP card.
Please note that order deadlines are two full days before your delivery or market day- Ex: Wednesday home deliveries are due to us by midnight on Sunday. Saturday market orders are due to us by midnight on Wednesday.
Snap Payment FAQs
Q: What is the minimum order to use my SNAP benefits?
A: To order through our website for home delivery or pickup at a Farmer's Market we require a $75 minimum order. For shopping with us in person at our Rutland Farm Stand or at Farmer's Markets there is no minimum.
Q: What does it cost to have an order delivered to my home?
A: All SNAP orders placed are provided with FREE DELIVERY if located within our direct delivery area. Generally, the delivery fee for these orders is $14.99 if under $149, but we waive that additional charge for our SNAP customers to help them make the most of their funds. For customers who fall into our shipping delivery area, our normal delivery fees apply.
Q: What additional benefits are available if I used my SNAP benefits at the Farmer's Market?
A: Each Farmer's Market and town has their own additional benefits they may offer, such as matching credits or coupons. Please check directly with the Farmer's Market to see what additional assistance they may provide to SNAP customers.
Q: What is the schedule for pre-orders for markets and deliveries?
