Sausage Gravy Biscuit Cups
Sausage gravy biscuit cups are a breakfast favorite! Flaky biscuit cups loaded with perfect sausage gravy - so easy to make with just four ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground breakfast sausage
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 cups milk
  • flaky canned biscuits, 8 count

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown and crumble the sausage
  3. Do not drain the grease, add the flour to it and whisk for a minute or two cooking the flour and creating a roux.
  4. Add salt and pepper.
  5. Add in your milk, whisking as you add.
  6. Continue whisking while the gravy begins to thicken and bubble.
  7. Let cook and bubble for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Peel flaky biscuit dough into thirds and place one in each cup of lightly greased mini muffin tin.
  9. Fill each biscuit dough cup with sausage gravy.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
